Screenwriters Retreat
Twice annually, five screenwriters from novice to mid-level will be selected to attend a one-week screenwriter's retreat. All travel and lodging expenses are covered for the duration of the retreat. Each participant will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with an industry professional on their script, as well as gain insight on how to position themselves in the industry, in addition to networking with other talented writer. Furthermore, all participants will receive a small stipend for their participation. Applications for the retreat will be screened by industry professionals and the finalists will be selected by the board. Vila da Magnolia does not discriminate against age, sex, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Anyone who meets the writing level requirement is encouraged to apply.
Artists in Residency

Artists Showcase
At the end of each Artists in Residency cohort, Vila da Magnolia will host a showcase where the artists will perform, display, and present their projects to a select group of investors, producers, buyers, and industry leaders looking to advance and elevate the careers of talented artists.
